Looks like a monday

Mom had chest pains this morning and spent the day in the hospital.
She came back looking spry as ever, and they didn't find anything, but stress.
Considering the events lately, it didn't surprise me at all.

Yesterday she visited the neighbor who got beaten almost to death. The family says he is hanging on, and recognizes them. I hope they catch the SOB's who beat a senior citizen... The doctor wants Mom to walk more, but the neighborhood is just so scary!

In the news, the person they convicted of killing that girl across the street (her brother, with DNA, 20 years after the fact) died of natural causes in prison before the trial. I hate the criminal justice system. Now he'll never get a fair trial and also we'll never know what evidence they had.

They moved away after that, they no longer live across the street.

I got a surprise phone call, and found out what had happened at the car club meeting. I am glad somebody else is standing up for themselves. I really can't say much about it, because it doesn't directly involve me. I used to be picked on alot as a kid, so now I just get so mad, when friends of mine are picked on! But they need to stand up for themselves...

I found a new crazy car site, it's called "You Drive What?" and I will put it into the favorites.
