All of this lady's pugs are this gentle, too. I can't get over it.
It rained a lot on Friday night and Denise's dad was supposed to help the other boarders cover the arena. It turned out he suffered a minor stroke but he's OK, just had some memory loss.
I went to visit Don again yesterday.
I have been kinda sad because even though nobody said anything, I can't shake this feeling of finality...
The dyno session had been cancelled again due to rain, for the second week in a row. They want me to dyno whenever it is, possibly this Saturday, because now my car will be done in time.
Don is doing EVERYTHING so that means, besides the fuel pump it needed, the starter that just broke, and the leaking rear main seal, (which ended up being a leaking oil pan,) a new set of gears for the rear end.
Also, when he took down the transmission to fix the oil leak, (which I wanted him to do because that means checking for problems,) he discovered that some teeth had been broken off of the flywheel, so a new used one of those too.
It's entirely possible that it was all caused by the bad fuel pump, but...
I am SO nervous, I don't think I'll believe the car's OK, even if it starts again!
It should be ready Monday...
Here's a neat old Pontiac leaving the country from the import exporters.
